Hello,
I’m Anke Stein.
Speaker, mediator, consultant and
passionate crisis manager.
Speaker, mediator, consultant and
passionate crisis manager.
I made my first big appearance in Wuppertal in 1970: The audience was thrilled at my birth. This event was followed by a happy childhood, a successful apprenticeship as a bank clerk and, from 1993 to 1997, the completion of a law degree at the Bochum Ruhr University Law School. My legal clerkship took place at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, with my second state examination occurring at the Higher Regional Court there with a stint as a criminal defense lawyer in sunny San Diego, California.
I then went on to work for seven years as a lawyer on the board staff and in contract drafting at Nord/LB in Hanover and Singapore.
During this time, I earned the NLP Practitioner and NLP Master certifications, the Training and Consultancy credential both with German and American accreditation, and a certification as a business mediator at the FernUniversität Hagen. In 2011, I completed my training as a wing-wave® coach – a protected innovative coaching method that’s being used with success in German-speaking countries, as well as in France, Spain, Serbia, Croatia, Scandinavia, Japan, Russia and the US.
Another milestone was the training course I took with Gunther Schmidt at the Mei-Hei Institute in Heidelberg. There, I got to know, and went on to internalize, hypnosystemic concepts.
Today I work as a systemic business coach and mediator throughout Germany, with proven training experience in the areas of communication, conflict management and negotiation.

My thoughts and actions are characterized by respect, appreciation and fairness. I’m committed to my clients – I negotiate and act on their behalf and stand on equal footing with them. The goal of resolving a conflict or negotiation is always to evaluate a current situation in the preparation phase and go on to find ways to improve it. However, this must never be done “at any cost,” because, while there’s always a value attached to the object of negotiation, this object must never be traded at the expense of one’s own credibility.
