Trust me. I know what a crisis looks like. From both my professional and personal experience.
Two significant moments in my life led me to my current work.
The first was when I left the safety of my job as a lawyer at a bank. It wasn’t a bad job, but I knew where my true calling and sense of purpose lay: in helping people overcome difficult situations and real challenges through direct conversation.
The second moment was when I was diagnosed with cancer, and my world was turned upside down. What I learned during that time is simpler than it sounds: Challenges don’t go away if you ignore them. You can solve them though, if you face them with clarity and the right mindset.
These two moments have shaped my work. I know what it means to be stuck in a situation where you initially can’t see a way out. I also know that there’s almost always a way out.
The drama around conflicts in companies doesn’t interest me. Rather, I’m interested in what lies behind the conflict and how an effective path forward can be found.
I work with people who are stuck in difficult situations involving entrenched positions, stalled processes of change, and decisions that no one wants to make. They involve people who are great at their jobs yet can’t seem to move forward.
I don’t provide ready-made solutions. Instead, I create a space where individual solutions can emerge.
Throughout the years, I’ve learned the tools of my trade.
Here’s a selection: training as a business mediator at FernUniversität Hagen, NLP Practitioner and Master (certified in Germany and the United States), wingwave® coach as well as systemic business coaching according to Gunther Schmidt (MEI-HEI Institute Heidelberg). As a lecturer for mediation at FernUniversität Hagen, I pass on what I apply in practice every day.
I have over 27 years of experience working with companies of all sizes and from various industries, ranging from medium-sized, family-owned businesses to international corporations.
When you work with me, you won’t receive cookie-cutter solutions. I will listen, clearly articulate my observations and stay with you until the situation is truly resolved.
If you’re currently facing a challenging situation, I’m the right person to talk to.
My motto:
Go for it – go for your goal!
